While on a Girlfriends Getaway I suggested we do a simple craft one of the afternoons while we were together. I found this craft on Pinterest. It turned out to be great fun to do while we were sitting together at a table and talking. Afterwards everyone of us said how much fun we had doing it and that it will always be a sweet reminder of the time we spent together.
Such a simple craft that anyone can do! Here's what you need
Vinyl cutout of a quote you like (Buy a pre-made sticker or cut one on a Cricut)
Plain ceramic jewelry dish (or something you want to decorate)
Pretty Paper Napkins
Mod Podge
Scissors
Paint Brushes
Cut out design parts from the paper napkin that you want to use on your dish. Cut as close to the printed design as possible.
Attach your vinyl or sticker quote on the dish
Spread a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the part of the dish where you want to add your napkin pieces. It is better not to put Mod Podge over the entire dish at once. Do sections at a time so the Mod Podge doesn't dry to quickly.
Gently place the napkin pieces where you want them and make sure to gently smooth the pieces down to remove any creases or ripples. Be careful not to rip the napkin.
Let the pieces dry 20-30 minutes and then add a top coat.
After we returned home we each shared a picture of where we put our new dish!
