This Christmas Peace Dove is one of my favorite gift tags! It is also one the the quickest and easiest tags to make!
Many years ago, I think it was from a tag exchange party, I brought home a gift tag just like this one. I wish I remembered who gave it to me. I have used it over and over for many years each Christmas and it is showing the wear. I decided to try and re-create the design on my Cricut. On the original tag the outline of the dove was done by hand. I was able to design it so that the Cricut does it! I absolutely love how it turned out!
Materials:
Cardstock - White, Orange, Green
Cricut Pens - Black, Dark Green
Black Puffy Paint (or Black Pen)
Ribbon or String
Foam Tape
Notes:
Use foam tape to make the front wing 3D.
Use black puffy paint or black pen to fill in the eye.
Score the leaves of one branch and crease on the score lines. Use this branch for the top layer of the branch for a 3D look.
Optional - Attach the ribbon/string between the front and back layers so there is no need for a hole punch.
I think the greeting message on the back is beautiful and is perfect for this tag!
