The Nutcracker Ballet is a Christmas tradition for my family. Going to see the ballet at the beginning of December kicks off the holiday season for us. For nine years our daughter danced various parts in our local performance.
The Sugar Plum Fairy is a symbol of seasonal splendor and hope and the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy is one of the ballets best known musical numbers. I had to make a Christmas Gift Tag of her!
