A fun gift tag for Christmas from the Nutcracker Ballet. I can't wait to use it with my gift wrapping! I made 4 characters from the Nutcracker into gift tags this year - Clara, The Nutcracker, Sugar Plum Fairy and now the Mouse King.
I was so happy to find this image on Cricut Design Space. I created a gift tag with it and added a few details to make it stand out. After cutting out and assembling the parts, I used brown puffy paint for the buttons on the jacket and brown string between the buttons. For the face I used black puffy paint for the eyes and mouth. I used a black pen to draw on the crown. I added a 3D look for the boots with foam tape. I think adding a few special details makes the tag even more interesting!
Materials:
Cardstock - Gray, Red, Gold, Blue, Off White, White, Black
Cricut Pen - Black
Puffy paint - Black, Brown
Brown String
Ribbon
This tag has quite a few parts but that's what makes it so special after it is put together. We like to keep our favorite gift tags and save in a box to use again another year! This one will be a keeper.
I love to share! This tag is ready to make if you’re a Cricut user. I designed it on Cricut Design Space. 😍 You can make it yourself!
Here's a link for you to make it: Mouse King Tag
I am posting a new gift tag a day the entire month of November. Join me and make a tag a day and by the end of the month you will have 30 tags ready for Christmas!
Happy Christmas Crafting!
